Most articulated trucks and articulated dump trucks have 6 X 6 drives, (as you can see in this picture of a Case Articulated Dump Truck) which simply means that it contains six wheels on three axels, of which all are used in the driving process. There are some of the articulated trucks that are 6 X 4 drives, which mean that out of its six wheels, only the rear four are driven, and then there are a few 4 X 4 articulated truck units which are used for some of the roughest terrain, built so that the articulated truck can maneuver to the best of its capabilities. There are many different companies and brands that manufacture these articulated trucks and articulated dump trucks that you can access through the World Wide Web. These different brands and companies make similar articulated trucks; however, the project itself will determine the articulated truck you will need.
